When You Carry Too Many Roles

Many adults carry invisible roles:

child, parent, partner, worker, fixer, supporter, emotional caretaker.

Your mind gets tired when the weight is constant.

### Signs:

• You switch roles without rest

• You feel responsible for everyone

• Your own needs are last

• You feel drained inside

### Why it happens:

You learned to show up even when tired.

You weren’t taught how to rest.

### Gentle steps:

• Pause one role for one hour

• Ask yourself: “What is one task I can release?”

• Allow yourself to be helped

• Soft boundaries, not hard walls

You are carrying too much for one person.
