+What is the best age for career counselling?
Class 8 or 9 is ideal for early self-discovery, and Class 10 is the most important point because stream selection shapes later options. Students in Class 11–12, college and after graduation also benefit, because the focus shifts to courses, colleges and first careers.
+How does career counselling after 10th help with stream selection?
The student takes a psychometric assessment of aptitude, personality and interests. A counsellor then compares Science, Commerce and Arts, and the subject combinations within each, against the student's actual profile, and discusses the careers each path leads to, with parents present.
+Is online career counselling as effective as in-person?
Yes, for most students. The assessment is taken online either way, and online sessions over video cover the same interpretation and planning as in-person sessions. We offer both: in person in Mumbai and Jaipur, and online across India.
+Is the career assessment free?
The FuturePath Human Intelligence Assessment and its summary are free. A detailed report with full career matches and a roadmap is available as a paid upgrade, and counselling sessions are booked separately.
+Do parents need to attend the counselling session?
We strongly recommend it. When parents understand the assessment results, they support the student's decision instead of pushing a different one, and the whole family moves forward together.
