Quiet Burnout (The Burnout Nobody Sees)

Quiet burnout is different from regular burnout.

It hides itself well.

You show up.

You work.

You function.

From outside, everything looks normal.

But inside, something is fading quietly.

### Signs of quiet burnout:

• You feel tired even after sleeping

• You keep pushing because “there is no choice”

• You can’t feel excitement

• You avoid calls or tasks

• You feel disconnected from yourself

### Why it happens:

Your nervous system has been running on survival energy for too long.

It switches into “bare minimum functioning” mode.

Not broken — just depleted.

### Gentle steps:

• Cancel one non-essential commitment this week

• Bring one 5-minute breathing ritual into mornings

• Speak one honest sentence to someone safe

• Allow yourself to stop pretending you’re fine

Your exhaustion is real, not imagined.
